The four classical temperaments have a funny way of showing themselves to us from time to time. What appears to us as someone’s attempt to intentionally baffle, bother, or otherwise provoke us, is usually just a natural activity to the other person based on their temperament. Even when people are acting out and exhibiting some really negative behavior, it is very often reflective of their temperament. I grew up being told that there is always a reason people do what they do. I knew there was a reason I just had no idea what those reasons were. Finally after (cough-cough) years I have found a pretty reliable source to discovering why people do what they do. Their needs and and values are driven by their temperament. So, when I or anyone else gets under your skin – pause and observe, take a little time to reflect and identify where we are coming from, seek out clarity and then gain a bit more understanding. It will be good for you.

Do they immediately go to the biggest crowd and start a conversation or do they seek out oneor two peopleand talk to them the majority of the night? Extroverts get their energy from being around a lot of people and will feed off of this energy all night long and may be up for doing something else.An introvert will, most likely, feel very drained and want to go home after the gathering. On my most recent trip to FL with a group of friends I really got to know who were the introverts and the extroverts of the bunch! Love all of them and now know them even better!
